We currently offer a women’s health clinic weekly at the practice. This clinic is specifically for:
- Menopause
- Contraception
- Cervical screening
Cervical Screening
Cervical screening (a smear test) is a test to check the health of the cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. It’s offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64.
You will receive a letter through the post inviting you to make an appointment with one of our Practice Nurse’s. Please call 01455 632277 to arrange your appointment.

Breast Screening – mammogram
NHS breast screening checks use X-rays to look for cancers that are too small to see or feel. Female patients will be invited for an NHS breast screening every 3years who are between the ages of 50 and 71. You will receive a letter through the post.
If you’re a trans man, trans woman or are non-binary you may be invited automatically, or call 0116 258 3644 your local breast screening service to ask for an appointment.
